"Hungarian–Serbian Tandem" – a true success.
Thank you for joining us on this special day.
More than 300 participants, nice weather, brilliant atmosphere.
Thank you!

More than 300 participants, nice weather, brilliant atmosphere – these were the main features of the “Hungarian – Serbian Tandem” Bicycle Tour held on Saturday, 21 September.

It was great to see how cycling could bring together people of all generations and cyclists of different nations. The youngest rider on the fascinating route was only one and a half year old while the eldest was almost 70.

During the ride, the participants from the two countries were truly at a two-wheel distance from each other, all going in the same direction for the achievement of the same goals, and for a brighter future for the whole region.

This amazing event – held within the framework of European Cooperation Day - celebrated the benefits and achievements of European Territorial Cooperation. During the tour everyone could experience that good neighbours may indeed create common future.

Do not forget to check out the latest photos of the event at the newly opened photo section. You are also very welcome to send us your pictures of the event. Visit our Facebook page and share your photos!

Many thanks once again to all riders and supporters. We hope to meet on our common roads again.

Wishing you all the best,

The Programme is co-financed by the European Union

Obey traffic signs and signals: You must follow the rules of the road even if you ride a bike... The route of the tour is signposted on board.

Right On: As a rule, it is best to ride in the direction of traffic, staying as far to the right as is practical.

Never ride with headphones: Be open to hear what happens around you.

Keep both hands ready to brake: You may not stop in time if you brake one-handed. Allow extra distance for stopping in the rain, since brakes are less efficient when wet.
